- ā¢ As a Benefits Verification Representative at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely access to their medications by verifying insurance coverage and processing prescription orders accurately and efficiently. This position directly supports CVS Healthās mission to simplify healthcare and improve patient outcomes through compassionate, detail-oriented service.
- ā¢ Your day-to-day responsibilities will include verifying insurance coverage for new and existing patients, processing prescription orders in a timely manner, utilizing problem-solving skills to resolve coverage issues, and delivering excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers. You will work within a structured Monday through Friday schedule (8amā6pm) with no weekend work required.
- ā¢ You will be part of the CVS Specialty team, a division focused on serving patients with complex, chronic conditions requiring specialized medications and support. - ā¢ In this role, you will develop strong expertise in healthcare insurance systems, benefit structures (including drug cards, major medical, and government programs), and prior authorization processes. You will enhance your customer service, attention to detail, and administrative proficiency while gaining valuable experience in a leading healthcare organization committed to employee growth and development.
šÆ Requirements
- ā¢ 6+ months of experience with medical insurance, benefits verification, medical billing, or patient/healthcare customer service
- ā¢ Verifiable High School diploma or GED required
- ā¢ Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8amā6pm schedule
