- • Analyze and interpret complex financial and transactional data from Coins.ph’s cryptocurrency and electronic money platforms to generate actionable business insights.
- • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools to monitor key performance indicators related to user acquisition, retention, transaction volume, and revenue streams.
- • Collaborate with product, finance, and operations teams to define metrics, KPIs, and reporting requirements that align with business objectives.
- • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple internal systems including transaction databases, user activity logs, and third-party financial APIs into centralized data warehouses.
- • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating sources, identifying anomalies, and implementing data quality controls across reporting pipelines.
- • Translate technical data findings into clear, non-technical summaries and visualizations for stakeholders across departments including marketing, compliance, and executive leadership.
- • Support ad-hoc analytical requests from business units by rapidly assembling data sets, performing exploratory analysis, and delivering timely insights.
- • Work closely with data engineering teams to improve data infrastructure, optimize query performance, and enhance the scalability of reporting systems.
- • Stay updated on regulatory reporting requirements from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and ensure all financial and user activity reports comply with licensing and audit standards.
- • Document data definitions, report logic, and ETL processes to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency across the analytics team.
- • Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve data-driven decision-making culture across the organization.
- • Monitor user behavior patterns and transaction trends to identify opportunities for product improvement, fraud detection, and service optimization.
- • Maintain version control and audit trails for all reports and dashboards to support internal and external audits.
- • Provide training and guidance to non-technical team members on how to interpret and use BI tools and reports effectively.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data governance practices within the company’s regulated financial environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases for data extraction and analysis
- • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms
- • Understanding of financial data structures, transactional systems, and regulatory reporting frameworks
- • Ability to translate business questions into data queries and analytical workflows
- • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy in a regulated financial environment
- • Experience working with large-scale user and transactional datasets in fintech or crypto platforms
