📋 Description

• The Bilingual Health & Safety Associate at Deel plays a vital role in safeguarding the well-being of employees across North America and LATAM by supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of health and safety programs aligned with global standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 45003. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment as Deel scales its global operations, directly contributing to employee protection and organizational resilience.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in compliance monitoring for ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 standards, supporting safety inspections and tracking corrective actions, contributing to risk assessments and preventive planning, helping design safe workplaces and prepare training materials, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of international health and safety regulations, facilitating trainings and awareness initiatives, supporting emergency preparedness and first aid protocols, assisting in incident reporting and analysis to identify trends, conducting ergonomic reviews and job safety assessments, and collecting and analyzing health and safety performance data to compile regular reports.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• General understanding of international health and safety standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a global, remote-first environment
• Experience with data tracking, reporting, and document management
