- • The Billing and Posting Resolution Provider - Meditech Expanse role at TruBridge serves as a critical liaison between hospitals, clinics, and insurance carriers, ensuring accurate and timely billing for hospital, physician, and clinic services using TruBridge’s complete business office solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and submitting UB-04 and 1500 claims electronically or by hard copy, securing required medical documentation from providers, following up on unpaid claims with insurance carriers until payment is received or only self-pay remains, and processing claim rejections by correcting errors or making accounts private before resubmission.
- • The role operates within TruBridge’s healthcare revenue cycle management team, supporting clients across Critical Access Care Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics that utilize Meditech Expanse systems, with a focus on compliance, accuracy, and customer service in a remote US-based environment.
- • The incumbent will develop deep expertise in medical billing workflows, denial management, insurance payer communication, and EOB interpretation while contributing to zero-error claim submission goals and gaining experience in high-stakes reimbursement resolution for complex healthcare accounts.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience with UB-04 and 1500 billing forms
- • Proficiency in CPT and ICD-10 coding
- • Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with insurance payers
- • Experience filing claim appeals to maximize reimbursement
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
