  • • As a Billing Coordinator at Abacus Group LLC, you will be an integral part of our dedicated billing team, reporting directly to the Team Leader. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our client invoicing processes, directly impacting our financial operations and client satisfaction. You will leverage your keen analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to maintain the integrity of our billing data and client communications.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical tasks, including collaborating extensively with internal departments to gather necessary information for billing inquiries and responding promptly and professionally to client billing questions submitted through our dedicated ticket board. This cross-functional communication is vital for resolving discrepancies and providing clear, accurate billing information.
  • • A core duty will involve the meticulous cleaning and validation of data to produce a comprehensive monthly billing reconciliation report. This report is a cornerstone of our monthly recurring revenue (MRR) billing process, requiring precision and a deep understanding of financial data flows.
  • • You will conduct thorough monthly invoice variance analyses, examining discrepancies by customer and product to identify trends, potential errors, or opportunities for optimization. This analytical work helps ensure that our billing is not only accurate but also reflects the services delivered and agreed-upon terms.
  • • The preparation and timely dispatch of invoices to clients will be a key output of your role. This involves ensuring all necessary details are included, calculations are correct, and invoices are sent according to established schedules and client preferences.
  • • You will contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job aids for billing processes. This documentation ensures consistency, facilitates training, and supports process improvements across the team.
  • • A significant project you will assist with is the migration of billing management and data from ConnectWise to Business Central. This involves verifying the success of the migration through rigorous quantitative data analysis and qualitative manual inspection of non-conforming data to ensure data integrity and completeness.
  • • You will also undertake other testing tasks as directed by Project Management, contributing to the overall success of system implementations and upgrades.
  • • This role is offered on a part-time basis, with a flexible schedule ranging from 15 to 30 hours per week, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The position is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States.
  • • You will be expected to maintain a positive and proactive attitude, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, rapidly-changing business environment. Your ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively will be highly valued.
  • • This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced IT billing specialist seeking to make a tangible impact within a successful and rapidly expanding IT services organization. You will be instrumental in refining our billing operations and contributing to the company's continued growth and financial health.
  • • The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving billing issues before they escalate, ensuring client trust and minimizing revenue leakage. You will be a key point of contact for billing-related queries, requiring excellent customer service skills to manage client expectations and provide satisfactory resolutions.
  • • Contributing to process improvement initiatives will be an ongoing aspect of the role. You will be encouraged to identify inefficiencies in current billing workflows and propose solutions that enhance accuracy, speed, and overall effectiveness.
  • • Ad-hoc projects and reports will be assigned as needed, requiring you to apply your analytical and problem-solving skills to diverse business challenges. This ensures you are constantly engaged and contributing to various facets of the company's operations.
  • • Ultimately, this position is about ensuring the financial accuracy of our client engagements, supporting the sales and operations teams by providing reliable billing data, and contributing to a seamless client experience through efficient and transparent invoicing.
