  • • As a Senior Regional Sales Manager at Smithfield Foods, you will lead strategic growth in your region by crafting and executing high-impact sales plans that drive market share and brand presence. This role is critical to expanding distribution, launching innovative products, and exceeding sales targets through collaboration with broker partners and internal teams.
  • • Day to day, you will increase product line distribution by managing and mentoring broker partners, delivering sales training, overseeing regional planning, and engaging in market activities. You will maintain and grow customer relationships through direct meetings with decision makers, delivering presentations, providing product samples, and executing region-specific programs. You will implement and tailor sales plans using syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, Perishable Group) to optimize performance and drive measurable growth.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination
  • • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management, development, or project leadership
  • • Strong understanding of the CPG industry, customer-focused and data-driven selling strategies (including IRI, Nielsen, and Perishable Group data)
  • • Proven ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving to drive sales performance with strong analytical reasoning
  • • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with strengths in organizational planning, teamwork, and relationship building
  • • Proficient in Apple software and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
