- • The role is critical for ensuring AI systems can accurately model and reason through authentic scientific workflows, with problems designed to have exactly one verifiable correct answer, thereby enhancing model reliability in real-world research applications.
- • Design advanced biology problems that challenge frontier AI systems by requiring deep analytical thinking and domain-specific knowledge, ensuring each problem reflects genuine scientific inquiry and computational rigor.
- • Create deterministic tasks with exactly one verifiable correct answer, grounded in real biological practice, and submit complete, step-by-step verified solutions that can be used to validate AI model outputs.
- • Build problems involving experimental reasoning, biological systems modeling, computational analysis, or bioinformatics workflows, drawing from molecular biology, genetics, systems biology, or related quantitative biology subfields.
- • Use Python and, when relevant, specialized biology or bioinformatics tools (e.g., Biopython, pandas, NumPy, or domain-specific platforms) to implement, test, and validate problem solutions and data pipelines.
- • Ensure high standards of rigor, reproducibility, and technical clarity in all deliverables, adhering to scientific best practices for documentation, version control, and result validation.
