- • The Brand Activation & Recruitment Associate at ALX Africa plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission to empower 2 million Africans with sustainable tech careers by 2030. This role bridges brand visibility and recruitment outcomes by executing high-impact, on-the-ground and digital activation strategies that directly contribute to learner acquisition in Morocco, ensuring ALX’s presence is felt in schools, campuses, and communities where future tech leaders are nurtured.
- • The person will drive awareness, engagement, and conversion through end-to-end management of brand activation initiatives, including planning and executing offline events such as school presentations, campus tours, and information sessions; representing ALX at public events with professionalism and energy to capture high-quality leads; supporting ambassador and community-led activation efforts; and coordinating logistics to ensure brand consistency and seamless execution across all touchpoints.
- • In digital recruitment support, the associate will assist in executing social media and online campaigns, adapt content for local Moroccan audiences under marketing guidance, monitor engagement and funnel metrics to identify trends, and proactively suggest data-informed improvements to optimize performance and reach.
- • For lead nurturing and conversion, the role involves following up with prospective learners via calls, messages, and email; supporting structured nurturing workflows; ensuring timely, personalized responses to inquiries; and maintaining a positive learner experience throughout the recruitment journey to maximize conversion rates.
- • The associate will identify, onboard, and manage user-generated content (UGC) creators and affiliate-style collaborators, aligning their output with ALX brand guidelines and performance goals; tracking creator metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion; optimizing partnerships based on results; and cultivating a sustainable, high-performing advocacy network that amplifies ALX’s mission authentically.
- • In data tracking and reporting, the associate will maintain accurate recruitment dashboards, analyze campaign performance and activation ROI, identify patterns in engagement and conversion to inform future strategy, and deliver structured weekly reports with actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- • Cross-functional collaboration is essential: the associate will work closely with the Recruitment & Marketing Specialist to align activation with campaign objectives; coordinate with the LCE (Learner Experience) team to ensure messaging consistency and learner journey alignment; and support other verticals as needed to uphold strong, unified brand execution across ALX Morocco’s operations.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, brand activation, recruitment, or program management, preferably within education, youth, or tech ecosystems.
- • Proven ability to independently manage projects from planning to execution with minimal day-to-day supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- • Experience organizing offline events and activation campaigns, including school presentations, campus tours, and information sessions, with comfort working in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
- • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel or similar tools for reporting and analysis, coupled with familiarity with digital marketing platforms and social media tools.
- • Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, and fluency in both English and French (written and spoken).
