• • The Growth Marketing team is a dynamic and rapidly expanding unit within Kraken, responsible for driving significant user and revenue growth across our global product suite. This team comprises some of the most talented marketing professionals in the crypto space, possessing deep expertise and unwavering conviction. Recently, we launched a new program to support Breakout, a prominent prop trading firm that became part of the Kraken portfolio in 2025. This initiative represents a significant opportunity to leverage our marketing prowess in a specialized and high-growth segment.
• • As the Breakout Affiliate Manager, you will play a pivotal role in scaling affiliate campaigns for the Breakout product on a global scale. This position requires a highly motivated, data-driven, and collaborative individual who is passionate about driving program growth. Reporting directly to the Global Affiliate Lead, you will be instrumental in taking the Breakout affiliate program from its nascent stages to a fully scaled operation over the next 12-24 months. This is a unique opportunity to join a burgeoning team and significantly influence the strategic direction and operational execution of this critical channel.
• • You will be a key member of the Growth Marketing team, working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders. This includes collaborating with regional growth teams to tailor strategies for specific markets, partnering with product marketing to ensure alignment between affiliate efforts and product roadmaps, liaising with compliance to uphold regulatory standards, and working hand-in-hand with the analytics team to derive actionable insights from program data. Your contributions will be vital in navigating the complexities of a fast-paced, data-driven environment within the dynamic cryptocurrency industry.
• • The core responsibilities of this role involve identifying and recruiting new affiliates whose audiences align with the prop trading sector. This includes actively seeking out influencers, content creators, and platforms that can effectively reach and engage potential Breakout users. You will be tasked with managing and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with our top-tier program partners, ensuring their continued engagement and success within the program.
• • A significant aspect of your role will involve diving deep into program data to uncover opportunities for optimization and growth. You will be responsible for monitoring affiliate content to ensure strict adherence to regional and product-specific compliance regulations, a critical function in the highly regulated crypto space. Furthermore, you will plan and execute a variety of tests, including placement, commission structures, incentive programs, and creative assets, all aimed at enhancing key program metrics and driving performance.
• • You will develop and own ambitious revenue and new trader acquisition goals specifically for the Breakout product, leveraging the affiliate channel as a primary growth engine. This involves setting clear objectives, tracking progress against these goals, and implementing strategies to achieve them. Collaboration with product and regional marketing teams will be essential to identify and capitalize on new expansion opportunities, ensuring a cohesive go-to-market strategy for Breakout.
• • This role demands an individual who is comfortable working autonomously, solving complex business problems, and thriving in a rapidly evolving and highly visible position. You will be expected to bring creative solutions to the table and demonstrate persistence in pursuing unconventional partnerships that can unlock new avenues for growth. Your ability to analyze performance KPIs such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) will be crucial in optimizing campaign effectiveness and demonstrating the value of the affiliate program. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration in our asynchronous, remote work environment.
