  • • The Broker Relations Manager at AlphaSense plays a critical role in expanding and sustaining the company’s sell-side content collection across the APAC region by building and managing strategic relationships with key research stakeholders at sell-side and independent research firms. This role directly supports AlphaSense’s mission to deliver trusted, AI-powered market intelligence by ensuring access to high-quality, proprietary research content that empowers enterprise clients to make smarter, faster decisions.
  • • The person will engage daily with senior research leaders — including Heads of Research, Research COOs, and Distribution Managers — to pitch AlphaSense’s value proposition, negotiate distribution agreements, onboard new contributors, manage renewals, and serve as the primary point of contact for all broker relationships in APAC. They will also monitor content usage, analyze market trends, coordinate product launches with internal teams, and provide actionable feedback to enhance the platform’s relevance and coverage.
  • • The Broker Relations Team operates within AlphaSense’s broader Content Team, which is responsible for sourcing, licensing, and integrating best-in-class financial and market research content globally. Led by the Chief Content Officer, this team values transparency, trust, and accountability, and collaborates closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure content aligns with user needs and drives platform innovation.
  • • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in global financial research workflows, commercial negotiation, and enterprise SaaS partnerships while building a influential network across APAC’s sell-side research ecosystem. They will gain hands-on experience shaping content strategy for a fast-growing AI-driven intelligence platform used by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including most of the S&P 500, and contribute directly to product evolution through market intelligence and partner insights.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5 to 10 years of experience in financial services, specifically within sell-side or independent research firms, research/content vendors, or related roles with a focus on sell-side investment research
  • • Established senior-level relationships with research and content providers across APAC, demonstrating credibility and influence within the sell-side research community
  • • Proven success in commercial and contractual negotiation with research contributors, including the ability to navigate complex terms and achieve mutually beneficial agreements
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with external broker contacts at all levels and internal stakeholders across global teams
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides), and Salesforce for managing relationships, tracking pipelines, and reporting on usage and royalties
  • • Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration in a multinational environment
  • • Superior organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail
  • • Business proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese is considered a strong plus for engaging with regional partners
