- • The Business Analyst at OpenDeal Inc. serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, analyzing functional needs and recommending system solutions or process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating system enhancement requests, coordinating release schedules with product owners and stakeholders, eliciting functional requirements from business experts, conducting feasibility research for proposed projects, and creating detailed documentation of user requirements including functional and non-functional specifications.
- • The role supports quality assurance through data analysis and profiling during pre- and post-implementation reviews, assists in functional and user acceptance testing, and ensures proper status reporting, knowledge transfer, and implementation planning for software solutions.
- • The Business Analyst builds and maintains relationships with software vendors and implementation partners, contributes to cross-functional collaboration, and may be required to participate in onsite testing events at the corporate HQ in Phoenix, AZ, despite the remote-USA work arrangement.
- • This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in business analysis, requirements engineering, stakeholder management, and SDLC processes within a large-scale environmental services organization committed to sustainability and innovation.
- • The role provides exposure to enterprise-level systems, data analysis using SQL, and collaboration with technical teams to deliver solutions that align with business objectives and support Republic Services’ mission of advancing circularity and decarbonization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business or technical analysis role
- • Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis
- • Business Analysis or Project Management Professional certification
