- • As a Business Analyst I at Pivotal Health Inc., you will play a critical role in transforming operational data into actionable insights that directly impact reimbursement outcomes for healthcare providers. Your work will help the company fulfill its mission of ensuring providers are paid fairly by turning complex IDR (Independent Dispute Resolution) data into clear, strategic guidance for internal teams and clients.
- • You will partner closely with Operations and Client Success to uncover the root causes behind performance trends in win rates, collections, and cash flow, enabling data-informed decisions that improve efficiency and financial recovery across the reimbursement lifecycle.
- • The Strategy & Analytics team at Pivotal Health is a collaborative, mission-driven unit focused on leveraging data, AI, and service innovation to simplify complex healthcare reimbursement workflows. You’ll join a low-ego, curious team that values probing questions, clear communication, and practical impact over mere report generation.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare payments, reimbursement analytics, and IDR operations while sharpening your ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analyses that drive real-world action.
- • You will gain hands-on experience shaping metric standards, building scalable BI dashboards, and influencing cross-functional strategy—positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who connects data to decisions in a fast-moving, purpose-led startup environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Analytics role
- • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets
- • Experience building dashboards with BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- • Strong analytical instincts with the ability to identify trends and anomalies in operational data
- • Comfortable translating ambiguous business questions into structured, actionable analysis
- • Clear communicator who can explain insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- • Curious, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-moving startup environment
