Cision, a global leader in communication intelligence, is seeking a talented People Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. This remote role, based in Bulgaria, requires you to work during US business hours (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Bulgaria local time), ensuring seamless collaboration with our global teams.
  • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing Cision's HR technology ecosystem. You will partner closely with the Senior Director of Global People Operations and the wider People Team to ensure our HR systems are accurate, scalable, and efficient. Your expertise will be crucial in managing data, configuring workflows, resolving system issues, and supporting critical integrations across our suite of HR platforms, including UKG, Greenhouse, LearnUpon, Clickboarding, and Culture Amp. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the foundational systems that drive our global people operations and contribute to Cision's mission of empowering every individual to make an impact.
  • Your responsibilities will span across several key areas:
  • *System Administration & Configuration:**
  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and configuration of our HR systems. This includes managing fields, designing and implementing workflows, defining roles and permissions, setting up automations, configuring integrations, and structuring reporting hierarchies to meet evolving business needs.
  • A critical part of your role will involve troubleshooting system issues, identifying root causes, escalating complex problems when necessary, and collaborating effectively with vendors to resolve defects or implement system enhancements.
  • You will actively participate in system upgrades, rigorous testing cycles, and release management processes to ensure the smooth deployment of new features and updates.
  • *People Data, Reporting & Analytics:**
  • You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of data quality through regular audits, data cleansing initiatives, and the implementation of robust data governance practices.
  • You will provide essential support to the People Analytics team by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of system data, which is vital for generating insightful dashboards and conducting comprehensive analyses.
  • You will be adept at building ad hoc reports by extracting and manipulating data from various HR systems to fulfill specific business requests and support strategic decision-making.
  • *Integrations & Automation:**
  • You will contribute to the support of HR system integrations with critical platforms such as payroll, finance, IT systems, and various third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow.
  • You will assist in managing and troubleshooting API-based data flows and integration points, ensuring reliable and accurate data exchange between systems.
  • You will proactively identify opportunities for workflow automation, aiming to reduce manual data entry, minimize errors, and significantly improve overall data quality and operational efficiency.
  • *Process Optimization:**
  • You will collaborate closely with the broader People team, Payroll, and IT departments to identify and implement process improvements across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • You will be responsible for documenting standard operating procedures, maintaining up-to-date knowledge articles, and providing essential system training to HR partners and end-users as required.
  • You will actively support new system implementations, the rollout of new features, and the execution of enhancement projects, ensuring successful adoption and integration.
  • *Stakeholder Support:**
  • You will serve as a primary point of contact for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support inquiries related to our HR systems, managing tickets and ensuring timely resolution.
  • You will provide clear guidance and best practice recommendations to HR partners and end-users regarding system functionality, data entry, and overall system utilization.
  • You will participate in strategic roadmap discussions for HR technology, offering valuable recommendations based on your data insights, system expertise, and understanding of business needs.
  • At Cision, we believe in fostering an environment where your voice is heard, your ideas are valued, and your unique perspective fuels our collective success. Join us in shaping the future of communication and building authentic connections that matter. Your growth is our success, and together, we’ll create the conversations of tomorrow. Be seen, be understood, be you.
