- • The Business Analyst role on the Enterprise Quality team at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is critical to supporting gap identification and gap-closure initiatives through timely delivery of accurate, high-quality data that directly impacts compliance, quality performance, and operational outcomes.
- • Day to day, the analyst pulls, validates, and prepares complex data files and orders for external vendors, produces and maintains operational and performance reports, and delivers actionable analytics to inform leadership decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- • The Enterprise Quality team at BCBST fosters innovation and encourages the responsible use of AI-enabled tools to improve how the organization serves its members, operating within a culture that values data-driven decision making and process optimization.
- • In this role, the analyst will develop expertise in healthcare data reporting, strengthen technical skills in Tableau, SQL, and advanced Excel, and gain experience translating business requirements into insights that influence organizational strategy and operational efficiency.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience developing, validating, and maintaining reports and dashboards using Tableau with strong data visualization best practices
- • Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing large datasets to support reporting and operational insights
- • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and efficient data manipulation techniques
- • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into actionable reporting and insights for operational and leadership audiences
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of professional work experience in a corporate environment)
- • 3 years of technical or operational experience required
