📋 Description
- • Partner with the Product Delivery Lead (PDL) and Scrum Master to prepare, maintain, and refine the sprint backlog for development and design teams, ensuring all tickets are clearly written with precise acceptance criteria.
- • Own the creation, finalization, and ongoing maintenance of requirements documentation including UI specifications, Confluence wiki pages, and Jira tickets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with implemented features.
- • Translate product decisions into actionable, detailed user stories and requirements that engineering and design teams can execute without ambiguity.
- • Lead and participate in UI design review meetings to ensure design specs align with documented requirements and business objectives.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional alignment between Product Delivery, Engineering, QA, UX/UI Design, and the Scrum Master throughout the development lifecycle.
- • Actively participate in daily standups, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectives to ensure transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating with QA, and assisting in client-facing presentations and status reviews.
- • Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability from epics through to acceptance and delivery, identifying and escalating gaps, ambiguities, or risks to the Product Delivery Lead.
- • Maintain up-to-date documentation post-implementation to reflect actual system behavior and support future enhancements or audits.
- • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with strong organizational skills, prioritizing tasks effectively in a fast-paced agile environment.
- • Proactively identify process inefficiencies and contribute to team-level improvements in backlog management, documentation standards, and requirement clarity.
- • Collaborate with teams building a best-in-class convenience retail mobile app and its supporting middleware, ensuring technical and business requirements are accurately captured and delivered.
- • Work remotely as part of a distributed team based in the United States, coordinating across time zones and delivering consistent, high-quality output without close supervision.
- • Take ownership of deliverables from inception to completion, demonstrating initiative and accountability in a self-directed role.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role on a software product team
- • Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation
- • Familiarity with agile (Scrum/Kanban) development methodologies
- • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation
- • Experience working on mobile applications (iOS/Android) is a strong plus
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to translate business needs into clear technical requirements
