  • • Conduct thorough review and stress testing of complex bid packages exceeding 1,000 pages to identify missing scope, regulatory requirements, and financial risks prior to bid submission.
  • • Perform precise quantity takeoffs and cost estimations using the client’s proprietary software systems and Excel-based workflows for heavy civil and site development projects.
  • • Extract and analyze critical project requirements from engineering plans, specifications, schedules, and addendums to ensure bid compliance, accuracy, and project feasibility.
  • • Collaborate directly with the primary estimator and ownership team to assemble complete bid packages, validate material cost data, and finalize submission documents.
  • • Coordinate with the client’s third-party estimator to maintain consistency across estimates and identify discrepancies in scope, pricing, or methodology.
  • • Conduct comprehensive material cost research and coordinate with vendors to obtain accurate pricing for equipment, materials, and labor inputs used in federal infrastructure bids.
  • • Apply knowledge of federal contracting requirements, permitting processes, and logistical constraints specific to Virgin Islands operations to inform bid strategy and risk assessment.
  • • Support the full bid lifecycle from initial plan review through final submission, ensuring all documentation meets client standards and contractual obligations.

  • • Proactively flag potential cost overruns, compliance gaps, or scheduling conflicts during the estimation phase to mitigate financial and operational risk.
  • • Work within a fully remote, LATAM-based structure while maintaining full alignment with U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours (8:00am – 5:00pm EST, Monday–Friday).

  • • Experience identifying scope gaps, compliance issues, and feasibility concerns in bid packages.
  • • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with takeoff software (PlanSwift or similar).
  • • Neutral English accent and clear verbal communication skills — ability to communicate technical details clearly with U.S.-based team members is essential.
  • • Prior experience working remotely for U.S.-based contractors is strongly preferred.
