As a Business Analyst on the Advanced Analytics & AI team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how Virta measures, communicates, and demonstrates its profound value to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- • This is a hands-on, impactful position focused on the critical area of commercial analytics, where your work directly influences client success and the company's strategic direction. You will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and compelling narrative of our performance reporting, which is essential for showcasing the life-changing outcomes Virta delivers.
- • You will be responsible for executing recurring measurement and reporting workflows, a core function that supports our rapidly expanding client base. This involves meticulous data validation, metric calculation, and the consistent delivery of high-quality reports that clients rely on to understand the impact of Virta's innovative approach.
- • As Virta's data infrastructure and client analytics systems mature, you will have the opportunity to collaborate more closely with our Client Product teams. This collaboration will focus on streamlining existing workflows, strengthening our measurement frameworks, and gaining invaluable exposure to product decision-making processes, allowing you to influence the future of Virta's offerings.
- • If you possess a passion for working with data, a knack for bringing structure to ambiguous challenges, and a drive to improve processes that yield tangible business outcomes, this role offers exceptional cross-functional exposure and significant growth opportunities within a mission-driven organization.
- • **Key Responsibilities and Contributions:**
- • **Deepen Understanding of Virta’s Value Model:** Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Virta’s proprietary performance measurement framework. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the quality of reporting and the depth of insights derived from our data, ensuring we are always presenting the most accurate and impactful information.
- • **Empower Client Success and Retention:** Maintain and enhance high-impact dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting workflows. Your efforts will directly ensure that our external partners, including health plans and employers, receive accurate, timely, and easily digestible data that validates the effectiveness of Virta's programs.
- • **Guarantee Rigorous Data Accuracy and Validation:** Take ownership of calculating and validating the critical performance outcomes that form the basis of both internal strategic reviews and external client-facing value reports. This includes implementing robust checks and balances to ensure audit-ready outputs.
- • **Bridge Data Insights with Business Strategy:** Act as a key liaison between the Advanced Analytics & AI team and Client Success teams. Your role will involve translating complex outcome data into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights that drive strategic conversations and reinforce the value proposition of Virta Health.
- • **Drive Innovation through Automation and AI:** Collaborate proactively across various teams, including Product and Engineering, to identify and implement opportunities for automating repeatable workflows. Leverage AI and advanced analytical techniques to push the boundaries of efficiency, precision, and insight generation in our reporting processes.
- • **Enhance Measurement Frameworks and Governance:** Contribute to the refinement of metric definitions, ensuring clarity, consistency, and robust documentation. This strengthens data governance, improves cross-team alignment, and builds a more scalable and reliable foundation for our analytics.
- • **Support Strategic Decision-Making:** Provide analytical support for key business decisions by delivering timely and accurate data insights. Your work will help inform product development, client engagement strategies, and overall business performance evaluations.
- • **Your 90-Day Journey at Virta:**
- • **First 30 Days:** Immerse yourself in Virta’s client value model, performance measurement frameworks, and existing reporting workflows. Review current client-facing deliverables and metric definitions to grasp existing standards and identify initial areas for improvement. Begin building strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the Advanced Analytics & AI and Client Success teams. Start contributing to recurring reporting cycles while actively learning the systems and operational expectations.
- • **Days 31–60:** Take ownership of recurring client-facing performance reporting, ensuring consistent accuracy and high quality. Focus on strengthening metric definitions and documentation to enhance data governance and foster better cross-team alignment. Begin identifying specific opportunities for process streamlining and automation.
- • **Days 61–90:** Independently manage end-to-end measurement and reporting workflows with confidence. Implement initial improvements designed to enhance scalability, reliability, or automation within your areas of responsibility. Proactively partner with Client Success and Analytics teams to refine client-facing insights and reporting narratives.
- • This role is ideal for an analytical professional who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment, enjoys solving complex problems with data, and is eager to make a significant impact on reversing metabolic disease.
