- • As a Business Analyst at Evernorth, part of The Cigna Group, you will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across healthcare and health services operations, directly supporting organizational growth and performance improvement.
- • You will serve as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring data-driven reporting and analytics align with organizational goals and enable smarter, faster decision-making.
- • Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Business Administration to understand key performance drivers and translate business needs into technical reporting requirements for projects and initiatives.
- • Partner with sales and operations teams to evaluate current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend data-backed improvements that enhance productivity and customer outcomes.
- • Extract, clean, analyze, and interpret large operational and financial datasets using SQL, Excel, and Power BI to uncover trends, root causes, and performance drivers.
- • Develop, maintain, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics for operational and sales teams, enabling proactive management.
- • Create polished, executive-level presentation materials that clearly communicate project findings, trends, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional audiences.
- • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of scheduled reports by reconciling data across multiple systems, identifying discrepancies, and implementing fixes to improve data integrity and reporting reliability.
- • Promote a customer-focused, collaborative culture when working with internal and external stakeholders, building trust and alignment around data-informed solutions.
- • Continuously learn and apply best practices in data visualization, business analysis, and healthcare operations while contributing to team knowledge sharing and process standardization.
- • Gain exposure to enterprise-scale healthcare data systems and develop expertise in translating complex analytics into business value within a mission-driven organization focused on improving health and vitality.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development.
- • Strong SQL skills for querying, extracting, and manipulating data from relational databases.
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Teams, for communication and collaboration.
- • Ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.
- • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects independently with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
