📋 Description
- • Business Consultant (External Wholesaler) role focused on driving sales of John Hancock Investment Management products across California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and Hawaii by engaging financial advisors through in-person and virtual channels.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include distributing mutual funds, ETFs, 529 plans, UCITS, SMAs, DCIO, and private placement offerings; maintaining and building client relationships through timely product information, market intelligence, and practice management advice; conducting client-facing activities via meetings, calls, and emails; prospecting for new business; representing the firm at conferences and training events; collaborating with internal wholesalers and home office partners; and efficiently managing territory resources including travel budget and specialist support.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- • Minimum of 3-5 years of asset management wholesaling experience required
- • Series 7 and 66 or 63 licenses required
- • CFA or CIMA designation preferred
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills – both in-person and virtual
- • Effective time management, technological, and organizational skills
- • Preference for candidates already established in the local market
