- • Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for driving financial transformation and optimizing operations within manufacturing and product-based industries? Pine Services Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Consultant to join our esteemed Operating Company. This pivotal role is designed for individuals who possess a robust understanding of functional accounting principles, coupled with hands-on experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. If you thrive on partnering with clients to enhance their financial processes, elevate their reporting capabilities, and ultimately boost their operational performance, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.
- • As a Finance Business Consultant, you will be at the forefront of critical ERP implementation projects and comprehensive financial transformation initiatives. Your primary objective will be to collaborate closely with our diverse clientele, predominantly within the manufacturing and product sectors, to meticulously analyze their existing financial operations. This analysis will involve a deep dive into current workflows, systems, and reporting structures to pinpoint areas of inefficiency, identify potential risks, and uncover opportunities for significant improvement.
- • A core component of your role will be to leverage your expertise to design and implement optimized financial processes. This includes, but is not limited to, enhancing budgeting and forecasting accuracy, refining cost accounting methodologies, streamlining financial close procedures, and improving the overall quality and timeliness of financial reporting. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through the complexities of ERP systems, ensuring that these powerful tools are configured and utilized to their maximum potential to support strategic business objectives.
- • This position offers a unique blend of strategic thinking and practical application. You will not only be involved in the technical aspects of ERP configuration and financial process design but also in the broader strategic advisory capacity. Depending on your demonstrated expertise and leadership potential, you may be tasked with leading client engagements from inception to completion, managing project teams, and serving as a trusted strategic advisor to C-suite executives and other key stakeholders. Your ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable business insights will be paramount.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and revenue recognition. Experience with various ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite) is highly desirable, as you will be guiding clients through selection, implementation, and optimization phases. Your understanding of manufacturing-specific financial considerations, such as standard costing, inventory valuation, and bill of materials, will be a significant asset.
- • Beyond technical proficiency, this role demands exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. You will need to build strong rapport with clients, understand their unique business challenges, and effectively communicate solutions and recommendations. The ability to facilitate workshops, conduct training sessions, and manage stakeholder expectations is crucial for success. You will be expected to act as a change agent, helping organizations navigate the complexities of financial transformation and adopt new processes and technologies with confidence.
- • We are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. As part of Pine Services Group, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of highly skilled professionals, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service offerings. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development, allowing you to expand your skillset and deepen your expertise in financial consulting and ERP solutions.
- • Ultimately, your success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver tangible improvements to our clients' financial operations, enhance their decision-making capabilities through better data and reporting, and ensure their long-term financial health and compliance. If you are a proactive, results-oriented finance professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career move, we encourage you to apply and become a key player in our clients' success stories.
