- • The Business Controls Analyst supports the execution and enforcement of Zippy’s business controls framework, ensuring operational, system, and process changes are properly documented, reviewed, and approved before implementation.
- • Day to day, the role involves coordinating change intake and tracking, reviewing documentation for completeness and standards compliance, confirming procedure updates, facilitating stakeholder reviews across Compliance, IT, and Operations, maintaining audit-ready records, and escalating gaps or non-adherence to control processes.
- • Zippy is a remote-first fintech company focused on simplifying manufactured home loans through digital innovation, with a mission to improve financial outcomes and address the affordable housing crisis. The team is spread across multiple U.S. states and backed by institutional investors, emphasizing finance happiness through technology and inclusive values.
- • In this role, the analyst will develop expertise in change governance, control frameworks, and cross-functional coordination within a regulated financial services environment, gaining experience in documentation standards, workflow management, and compliance tracking while contributing to a mission-driven organization with clear career growth opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3 to 6 years of experience in risk, compliance, operations, audit, or a related function within a regulated or process-driven environment
- • Experience supporting process governance, change management, or control-related activities
- • Familiarity with structured workflows, documentation standards, and approval processes
- • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documentation for completeness and consistency
- • Organized and able to manage multiple workstreams with clear tracking and follow-up
- • Comfortable coordinating across teams and following up with stakeholders to drive timely responses
- • Ability to identify gaps in documentation or process adherence and escalate appropriately
- • Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially in documenting and tracking requirements
- • Experience working with systems of record, workflow tools, or compliance tracking systems is preferred
- • Exposure to financial services, lending, servicing, or similar regulated operations
- • Manufactured housing, specialty finance, or partner-based lending experience is a plus
