- • Be the growth engine behind Forbes Advisor’s Health vertical. As our Business Development Associate, you will own the entire partner acquisition funnel—from first cold outreach to signed contract—while working hand-in-hand with the Director of Business Development to hit aggressive revenue targets.
- • Own the research and mapping of new healthcare categories. You will build and maintain a living database of high-value prospects (multi-location clinics, specialty practices, tele-health platforms, and hospital networks) and prioritize them by revenue potential, strategic fit, and likelihood to convert.
- • Design and execute data-driven outreach campaigns. Leverage Salesforce, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to craft personalized sequences that speak to each prospect’s pain points around patient acquisition, cost-per-lead, and lifetime value. Track open, reply, and meeting-set rates, then iterate weekly.
- • Run consultative discovery calls with C-suite executives and marketing directors. Uncover KPIs such as monthly lead volume, target cost-per-acquisition, and specialty mix; translate those insights into tailored proposals that map Forbes Advisor’s lead-gen solutions directly to their growth goals.
- • Manage multi-stakeholder deal cycles. You will quarterback legal, compliance, finance, and marketing contacts on the client side—navigating procurement portals, MSAs, and data-processing addendums—while internally aligning with product, editorial, and campaign-ops teams to ensure every promise is deliverable.
- • Structure and negotiate complex contracts. Packages range from $50K pilot programs to multi-year, seven-figure partnerships. You will draft SOWs, set pricing tiers, and build performance guarantees that protect margin while giving clients confidence in our ability to deliver high-intent patients.
- • Serve as the post-sale strategic account owner. Once a deal is signed, you remain the client’s primary point of contact—onboarding them, setting success metrics, and running quarterly business reviews that showcase ROI and tee up expansion opportunities.
- • Project-manage campaign launches end-to-end. Coordinate with editorial to brief writers on clinical guidelines, with SEO to optimize landing pages, and with compliance to ensure HIPAA adherence. Build launch timelines, flag risks early, and keep all parties accountable to deadlines.
- • Build long-term, mutually profitable partnerships. Monitor lead quality scores, conversion rates, and downstream revenue; when metrics dip, proactively recommend optimizations—new geo-targeting, creative refreshes, or funnel tweaks—to keep clients sticky and upsell-ready.
- • Contribute to the broader BD playbook. Document winning sequences, objection-handling tactics, and pricing frameworks. Present learnings in monthly “Growth Labs” so the entire team benefits from your experiments and successes.
- • Embrace a culture of radical transparency and continuous improvement. Share pipeline updates in Monday stand-ups, celebrate closed-wins in Slack, and seek feedback from peers to sharpen your pitch and process every single week.
