  • • Are you a driven and results-oriented sales professional with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a proven track record in enterprise solution selling? Nordcloud, an IBM company and a European leader in cloud advisory, implementation, and managed services, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our expanding team in The Netherlands. This is a unique opportunity to become a pivotal player in the European cloud revolution, empowering major enterprises to harness the full potential of hyperscaler cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • • As a Business Development Executive at Nordcloud, you will be at the forefront of new business generation, specifically targeting the upper midmarket enterprise key customer segment within the Benelux region, with a strong emphasis on The Netherlands. Your primary mission will be to identify and cultivate new business opportunities, building robust, long-term relationships with C-level executives and senior IT decision-makers at prospective clients. You will be instrumental in understanding their strategic objectives and demonstrating how Nordcloud's comprehensive portfolio of services – spanning infrastructure, application modernization, data analytics, and advanced security – can drive their digital transformation and business success.
  • • This role demands a strategic thinker with an innate ability to navigate complex sales cycles within large organizations. You will be responsible for developing and executing targeted sales strategies, ensuring that new clients not only adopt cloud solutions but also implement them in a way that maximizes Nordcloud's value proposition. This includes understanding their current IT landscape, identifying pain points, and architecting solutions that leverage the power of cloud-native technologies. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently deliver on agreed new sales, revenue, and quarterly pipeline targets, contributing directly to Nordcloud's ambitious growth objectives.
  • • Beyond transactional sales, you will act as a thought leader and trusted advisor. You will inspire and motivate all stakeholders, both internal and external, to embrace Nordcloud's vision and enhance our standing as an industry innovator. This involves staying abreast of the latest cloud trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, and translating this knowledge into compelling sales propositions and strategic account plans. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with our strategic partners at Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, leveraging these relationships to co-sell and expand market reach. Furthermore, you will provide invaluable, timely, and insightful market feedback to our internal functional teams, including product management and marketing, helping to shape our service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
  • • To amplify Nordcloud's presence and thought leadership, you will represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and special occasions. This involves delivering impactful presentations, engaging with potential clients and partners, and contributing to Nordcloud's reputation as a go-to expert in the cloud space. Your ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner will be crucial in these engagements.
  • • We are looking for individuals who possess a deep understanding of enterprise-level solution selling, including the intricacies of large customer environments, organizational politics, and extended sales cycles. Experience in the cloud business is essential, as you will be selling complex cloud solutions and services. While by heart you are a salesperson, your experience has taught you that well-managed delivery is the cornerstone of sustainable growth, making it your second nature to ensure client success post-sale. You must have a proven track record of working directly with C-level stakeholders and senior IT executives, demonstrating your ability to build credibility and influence at the highest levels. Familiarity with enterprise RFP processes is also highly desirable. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills are non-negotiable, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment. Fluency in spoken and written Dutch is a significant advantage, alongside excellent English communication and presentation skills.
