📋 Description

• Business Development Lead for Central Europe (DACH, Czech Republic, Slovakia) responsible for driving defense market growth, customer engagement, and business expansion across assigned territories.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include owning territory strategy, pipeline development, account growth, and opportunity execution from early shaping through award and expansion, representing Shield AI’s autonomy and aircraft portfolio including V-BAT, X-BAT, ViDAR-enabled ISR capabilities, and Hivemind autonomy software.
• Part of Shield AI, a venture-backed deep-tech defense technology company founded in 2015 with a mission to protect service members and civilians through intelligent systems, operating globally with offices across the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
• Opportunity to develop expertise in defense acquisition, lead strategic customer engagements, drive revenue growth in a high-impact mission-driven environment, and contribute to the advancement of autonomous systems for national security.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of growing strategic accounts and delivering mission-critical outcomes in defense or aerospace markets
• Experience navigating defense acquisition environments and government procurement processes
• Strong commercial instincts and customer-focused mindset with technical credibility in autonomous systems or defense technology
• Ability to carry and achieve sales quotas in a fast-paced international defense environment
• Experience in opportunity development, strategic partnerships, and executing complex sales cycles
