- • As a Business Development Lead - New Verticals at Tremendous Inc., you will own the go-to-market strategy for 2-3 specific industry verticals, directly influencing how the company approaches high-value, complex markets and driving sustainable growth through deep domain expertise and senior-level relationship building.
- • Day to day, you will partner with strategy and ops partners to build industry expertise, develop senior relationships with key accounts and stakeholders, source and close large complex deals with longer sales cycles, represent Tremendous at industry events, and collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to refine positioning and turn early wins into repeatable playbooks.
- • Tremendous is a profitable, fully remote company with a high-documentation, low-meeting culture that serves over 20,000 companies including Google, MIT, and United Way, having processed over $2 billion in payouts while saving customers an average of 15 hours per month through its flexible bulk payouts platform.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in targeted industries, help define and prove a new GTM motion, gain ownership over vertical-specific strategy, and directly influence the company’s future expansion into complex markets while working closely with cross-functional leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–10 years of experience in B2B sales, with meaningful time in business development
- • Experience selling into industries where trust, credibility, and relationships are paramount
- • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building pipeline from first principles
- • Strong executive presence with the ability to navigate senior buyer conversations
- • Patience and discipline to invest ahead of revenue
- • Clear, concise written communication aligned with a documentation-first culture
