- • Serve as the primary liaison between TechData customers and suppliers, executing supplier strategies to maximize revenue, net gross profits, and customer satisfaction.
- • Develop and implement vendor-specific initiatives to align sales activities with supplier goals and market demands.
- • Engage with channel partners and suppliers to strengthen relationships, drive collaboration, and ensure alignment on sales objectives.
- • Manage the complete sales cycle, including credit management, order processing, and accounts receivable collections to ensure operational efficiency.
- • Maintain and optimize sales pipeline, forecasting accuracy, and inventory management to support demand planning and supply chain effectiveness.
- • Collaborate with channel partners to enhance their sales competencies through hands-on coaching, joint deal closure support, and strategic guidance.
- • Coordinate with suppliers to organize and deliver technical and sales training for partners on new products, technologies, and solutions.
- • Analyze market potential by learning from experienced BDMs and actively contribute to expanding the company’s market base in assigned regions.
- • Conduct formal presentations to suppliers, partners, and internal teams to communicate sales strategies, product updates, and performance metrics.
- • Negotiate terms and close transactions with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes for suppliers, partners, and the company.
- • Maintain accurate records and execute clerical and data entry tasks with precision, ensuring compliance with internal processes and reporting standards.
- • Perform basic mathematical calculations related to sales forecasts, margins, and financial metrics with accuracy and timeliness.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for assigned targets and deadlines.
- • Operate effectively under pressure during high-workload periods, meeting deadlines without compromising quality or compliance.
- • Uphold ethical and organizational standards in all internal and external business interactions.
- • Protect the confidentiality of sensitive supplier, customer, and company information at all times.
- • Build and sustain productive working relationships across supplier organizations, channel partners, and internal teams.
- • Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs, concerns, and perspectives of colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
- • Quickly adapt to and master new systems, technologies, and processes relevant to sales operations and supplier management.
- • Utilize standard computer applications for daily tasks including CRM tools, spreadsheets, and communication platforms.
- • Travel frequently—approximately 50% of the time—to meet with suppliers, partners, and customers across India and potentially other regions.
- • Work in both professional office environments and distribution center settings, which may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, humidity, and outdoor conditions.
- • Be available on-call as needed to support urgent business requirements, including occasional non-standard work hours or overtime.
