- • Own and accelerate Leverage Edu’s expansion across mainland China, turning a high-growth opportunity into a dominant market position. You will be the first boots-on-the-ground BD leader for the region, building the playbook that future teams will replicate.
- • Map the entire Chinese student and young-professional ecosystem—agents, high schools, universities, ed-tech platforms, scholarship bodies, government talent programs, and fintech partners—then design and execute a systematic outreach engine that converts these relationships into sustained revenue.
- • Hit aggressive quarterly revenue targets by signing institutional partnerships (top-tier high schools, pathway colleges, language schools) and direct-to-student channels (WeChat mini-programs, KOLs, live-streaming platforms) that funnel high-intent applicants into Leverage’s global admissions, financing, and visa products.
- • Craft localized value propositions that resonate with Chinese families’ priorities: ROI of overseas degrees, scholarship maximization, post-study work rights, and safe settlement abroad. Translate these into Mandarin collateral, webinars, and parent workshops that drive trust and conversion.
- • Negotiate and close multi-year, multi-million-RMB contracts with institutional partners, ensuring pricing, volume commitments, and co-marketing terms protect unit economics while scaling lead flow.
- • Build and mentor a high-performing China BD squad—recruiting account executives, channel managers, and partner success associates—setting clear KPIs, coaching weekly, and instilling Leverage’s culture of data-driven hustle.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams to localize the app experience (Alipay/WeChat Pay integration, Chinese-language UI), with credit teams to tailor education-loan offerings, and with visa & settling-in teams to ensure end-to-end student delight.
- • Establish regulatory and compliance guardrails: navigate SAFE rules on foreign-exchange tuition payments, understand MOE guidelines for study-abroad agencies, and maintain airtight data-privacy standards for student information.
- • Deploy a rigorous CRM discipline—HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent—tracking every lead, partner touchpoint, and revenue outcome; generate weekly dashboards for Beijing HQ and global leadership that spotlight pipeline health and forecast accuracy.
- • Experiment relentlessly: pilot Douyin live info-sessions, A/B test WeChat article headlines, launch referral contests in tier-2 cities, and iterate fast based on CAC, LTV, and NPS metrics.
- • Represent Leverage Edu at key China education fairs (China International Education Expo, BE Top Schools), delivering keynote talks that position the company as the thought leader in global talent mobility.
- • Champion the voice of Chinese customers back to global leadership, ensuring product roadmaps reflect real on-the-ground needs—from faster scholarship disbursement to Mandarin-speaking customer support.
- • Within 12 months, create a self-sustaining growth engine: a diversified partner network, a predictable lead funnel, and a brand that Chinese students and parents instinctively trust for life-changing global opportunities.
