- • Assist Project Managers in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for transformer manufacturing and related initiatives.
- • Support the coordination of project activities and allocation of resources across multiple teams and locations within Hitachi Energy’s Greater China operations.
- • Identify, document, and track project risks and issues to ensure timely escalation and resolution.
- • Participate in regular project meetings, accurately take minutes, and follow up on assigned action items to maintain project momentum.
- • Contribute to the preparation of professional project documentation, including status reports, presentations, and technical summaries.
- • Work closely with engineering and administrative teams to ensure alignment between project deliverables and operational requirements.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create and maintain project tracking tools, timelines, and reporting materials.
- • Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin Chinese to coordinate with internal stakeholders across diverse regional teams.
- • Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing environment.
- • Proactively seek learning opportunities to understand transformer production processes, supply chain logistics, and project lifecycle management within the energy sector.
- • Maintain accurate records of project communications, decisions, and changes to support audit readiness and knowledge retention.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
- • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes by providing feedback and suggestions based on internship observations.
- • Adhere to company policies and procedures while representing Hitachi Energy with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
- • Contribute to talent development initiatives by actively engaging in training programs designed to build competencies in project administration and operational execution.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
- • Strong organizational and time management skills
- • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
- • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
