- • Own and manage critical business development operations supporting the SMB Lending partner ecosystem and internal teams at NerdWallet
- • Maintain and analyze weekly and monthly performance data, dashboards, and internal/external reporting to drive operational decisions
- • Lead the monthly production of rankings and placements for credit card, banking, lending, and software products across NerdWallet’s platform
- • Serve as the primary operational contact for approximately 100 partners, triaging and responding to requests related to pricing, product updates, editorial changes, growth inquiries, and compliance adjustments
- • Own cross-functional projects from intake through execution, managing timelines, stakeholder coordination, and delivery across BD partnership managers, editorial, compliance, and analytics teams
- • Support partner onboarding and contract workflows including documentation collection, internal approvals, and process adherence
- • Build, improve, and scale templates and processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability across business development operations
- • Identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues in partner performance metrics and act as an internal subject matter expert on operational data
- • Collaborate with BD partnership managers across verticals including credit cards, banking, software, lending, and referral partnerships to align operational workflows with business goals
- • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of partner-facing operational outputs with high attention to detail and follow-through
- • Work remotely as a 6-month W-2 contractor with Monday–Friday availability, 30–40 hours per week, during standard EST business hours (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
- • Operate within a fast-paced fintech environment requiring proactive initiative, ability to thrive in ambiguity, and entrepreneurial mindset to continuously improve operational systems
- • Utilize tools including Jira, Confluence, Looker/Tableau, and MS Office to manage workflows, track progress, and generate insights
- • Act as a dependable operational owner for business-critical workflows that directly impact partner relationships and revenue generation
- • Contribute to building a scalable operational foundation for NerdWallet’s growing SMB Lending business through process documentation and standardization
- • Communicate clearly and thoughtfully with cross-functional teams to build strong relationships and align on priorities
- • Adapt to changing business needs and shifting priorities while maintaining operational excellence and partner satisfaction
- • Support compliance and regulatory requirements through accurate documentation and adherence to internal policies
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in project management, business development operations, or operations roles with end-to-end ownership of projects
- • Strong analytical skills with experience working in dashboards, reporting, and performance data
- • Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Looker/Tableau, and MS Office
- • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- • Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to drive initiatives to completion
- • Comfortable coordinating across multiple teams with competing priorities
