- • As a Business Development Representative at Repurpose Global Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving growth for a VC-backed tech startup focused on sustainable innovation in the packaging industry. Your work will directly support the company’s mission to help consumer brands navigate complex packaging regulations, make data-driven sustainability decisions, and ensure compliance with evolving global standards through a new B2B software platform.
- • Day to day, you will identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching target accounts, initiating outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn, and engaging with key stakeholders in sustainability, procurement, and product development teams at consumer brands. You will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, track engagement metrics, and move qualified leads through the sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- • You will join a mission-driven, fast-paced team at a VC-backed startup where innovation, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making are core values. The company is building cutting-edge software to transform how brands approach packaging sustainability, offering a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact environmental outcomes and business growth.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in B2B sales processes, sustainability regulations (such as EPR and plastic taxes), and SaaS sales cycles. You will gain hands-on experience with CRM platforms, sales enablement tools, and data-driven outreach strategies, positioning you for advancement into senior sales, account management, or sales leadership roles within the sustainability tech space.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in B2B SaaS or sustainability-focused industries
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage C-level and mid-level stakeholders via email, phone, and social platforms
- • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft)
- • Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding activity and conversion targets
- • Familiarity with sustainability trends, packaging regulations (EPR, plastic taxes), or corporate ESG goals is a plus
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
