📋 Description
- • The Business Development Representative role at Safeguard Global is a remote, work-from-home position based in the Philippines, focused on driving new business growth across the APAC region — specifically Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia — by generating high-quality sales pipelines through strategic prospecting and outreach. This role is critical to expanding Safeguard Global’s market presence in key international territories while embodying the company’s ‘work in any way’ philosophy, which prioritizes flexibility, autonomy, and work-life integration without compromising productivity or professional standards.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include working ANZ business hours (AEST) to align with prospect outreach in Australia and New Zealand; researching and identifying growing companies in target markets using job postings, funding announcements, and other market signals; compiling accurate contact data and account intelligence for key stakeholders across APAC (excluding China); executing cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted email campaigns to convert prospects into scheduled meetings; collaborating directly with Sales Representatives to schedule appointments, attend meetings when needed, and ensure timely follow-up; and maintaining meticulous records of all prospecting activities in Salesforce or the designated CRM system to ensure data integrity and pipeline visibility.

- • In this role, you will develop advanced outbound sales expertise, particularly in B2B prospecting within mature ANZ and Southeast Asian markets, while refining your communication, qualification, and objection-handling skills when engaging senior-level stakeholders. You’ll gain hands-on experience with Salesforce, deepen your understanding of international business dynamics, and build a scalable, repeatable prospecting process — positioning yourself for advancement into senior sales, account management, or sales leadership roles within a fast-growing, innovative global organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in B2B inside sales, business development, or customer support with a strong focus on outbound prospecting.
- • Proven, demonstrable success cold calling and prospecting into ANZ (Australia and/or New Zealand) markets — this is a mandatory requirement.
- • Native or near-native English fluency (spoken and written), with a clear, professional communication style suited to engaging business professionals across ANZ and Southeast Asia.
- • Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform.
- • Ability to work full-time aligned to ANZ business hours (AEST) and maintain a stable, quiet home office environment with reliable high-speed internet (minimum 50 Mbps upload/download).
