Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Be the first voice of Parachute Health for thousands of medical practices, clinics, and post-acute facilities across the United States. As a Business Development Representative focused on clinician sales, you will own the top-of-funnel for a market-leading e-prescribing platform that is already trusted by 75,000+ providers and 10,000+ facilities.
- • Every day you will research, prioritize, and cold-outreach to physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, and practice administrators who still rely on fax machines and paper forms to order DME, medical supplies, and home-health services. Your goal is simple but powerful: replace 1970s workflows with a cloud solution that cuts order-processing time by 80 % and gets patients the equipment they need 3× faster.
- • Master the Parachute story. You will learn every nuance of our integrations with Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, and PointClickCare so you can translate technical capabilities into clear ROI for a busy clinician. Expect to become fluent in CPT codes, prior-authorization rules, and Medicare competitive-bidding regulations—knowledge that turns a 30-second cold call into a booked demo.
- • Run a disciplined, metrics-driven pipeline. On a typical morning you will queue 60–80 high-value prospects in Salesforce, craft hyper-personalized emails referencing each clinician’s specialty and patient mix, and follow up with a confident phone call that lands a 15-minute discovery meeting. You will track connect rates, talk-time, and meeting-set percentages, iterating scripts weekly with our Sales Enablement team.
- • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with Account Executives. When your discovery call reveals a 15-location orthopedic group ready to modernize, you will seamlessly transition the relationship to an AE, providing detailed notes, org charts, and a tailored ROI deck. You will sit in on demos, handle pricing objections, and occasionally travel to regional trade shows to support deal closure.
- • Champion market feedback. Clinicians will tell you about prior-auth pain points and EMR quirks that even our Product team hasn’t heard. You will log these insights in Gong and Slack so Marketing can sharpen collateral and Engineering can prioritize the next integration sprint.
- • Contribute to a culture of rapid experimentation. We A/B test everything—subject lines, call-openers, LinkedIn voice notes, and even the order of discovery questions. Expect to pitch at least one new outbound experiment every month and see it deployed to the full BDR team within 48 hours.
- • Celebrate wins loudly. When you book the 500th demo of the quarter or land a marquee multi-site health system, the entire company will hear about it on Slack, and you’ll earn a spot at our quarterly President’s Club trip. Your success directly accelerates Parachute’s mission to eliminate fax machines from American healthcare.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–3 years of quota-carrying outbound sales or business-development experience, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, or B2B technology
- • Demonstrated ability to make 60+ cold calls and send 80+ personalized emails per day while maintaining data hygiene in Salesforce or comparable CRM
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—can explain complex integrations to a non-technical clinician in under 90 seconds
- • Resilience and coachability: you view “no” as data, actively seek feedback, and iterate scripts weekly
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; clinical or health-tech background is a strong plus
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary of $58,500–$70,000 plus uncapped commission and quarterly accelerators that routinely push on-target earnings above $100k
- • 100 % remote-first culture with a $1,000 home-office stipend and flexible hours across U.S. time zones
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance effective day one, plus a 401(k) with 4 % company match
- • 20 days PTO, 10 paid holidays, and an annual “Parachute Week” company shutdown in July for true unplugged rest
