📋 Description
- • Serve as a core member of Prelude’s Sales team, driving new business opportunities by identifying and engaging prospects across Europe and the US.
- • Target decision-makers at all levels including procurement managers, lead engineers, heads of anti-fraud, platform owners, CTOs, CPOs, and CEOs within assigned verticals and territories.
- • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, cold emailing, and experimentation with additional outreach channels such as LinkedIn and automation tools.
- • Qualify leads by assessing company needs, technical requirements, and decision-making processes to determine fit for Prelude’s authentication platform.
- • Deliver compelling pitches on Prelude’s value proposition, emphasizing real-time channel optimization, spam/fraud blocking, and superior price-to-conversion ratio.
- • Independently close smaller deals without escalation, managing the full sales lifecycle from initial contact to contract signing.
- • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and fellow Business Development Representatives to align on strategy, share insights, and expand pipeline efficiency.
- • Continuously refine and improve outbound processes as the sales team scales, contributing to playbook development and tool optimization.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records to ensure visibility into pipeline health and activity metrics.
- • Act as a frontline representative of Prelude’s mission to transform user authentication from a cost center into a growth lever.
- • Embrace a fast-paced, iterative startup environment where feedback is frequent, processes evolve rapidly, and ownership of outcomes is expected.
- • Contribute to team culture through in-person collaboration, with 4 days per week required in the Paris office and 1 day remote.
- • Participate in annual offsite events, such as the previous retreat in Le Pradet, to strengthen team cohesion and strategic alignment.
- • Utilize tools such as HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Apollo, Phantombuster, or Kaspr to enhance prospecting efficiency and data accuracy.
- • Maintain fluent daily communication in English; proficiency in additional languages is a bonus but not required.
- • Operate with a bias for action, taking initiative to test new approaches and iterate quickly based on real-world results.
- • Demonstrate ownership by following through on leads from first contact through closure and learning from outcomes.
- • Thrive in a flat organizational structure where ideas are valued regardless of title and team members take full responsibility for their impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or a related field
- • Previous experience in Business Development or Sales
- • Fluent English speaking ability for daily professional communication
- • Proactive mindset with a relentless drive to initiate conversations and close deals
- • Familiarity with sales tools such as HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Apollo, Phantombuster, or Kaspr (bonus)
- • Entrepreneurial mindset with self-direction, resourcefulness, and teamwork skills
