Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Serve as the first Business Development Representative (BDR) in Italy, building the outbound sales funnel from scratch for Dandy’s entry into the Italian dental market
- • Act as the primary point of contact for prospects in a new geographic market, using cold email, phone outreach, and creative channels to generate qualified leads
- • Design, test, and refine outbound sales sequences, scripts, and targeting strategies without an existing playbook—creating the foundational GTM motion for Italy
- • Overcome objections, clearly articulate Dandy’s value proposition to dental practices, and advance prospects through the sales pipeline
- • Utilize Salesforce and other sales tools to track all activity, measure performance, and define key metrics that establish what “good” looks like in this new market
- • Collaborate directly with senior leadership to align on messaging, KPIs, and revenue targets critical to Dandy’s hypergrowth stage in Europe
- • Partner with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs of qualified leads and provide real-time feedback on prospect pain points, objections, and market insights
- • Feed learnings from outbound outreach back into product, marketing, and go-to-market strategy to improve conversion rates and positioning
- • Build and iterate on prospecting campaigns tailored to SMB dental practices, identifying decision-makers and tailoring messaging to practice size, location, and technology adoption
- • Work autonomously in a resource-constrained environment, rapidly adapting to feedback and pivoting strategies based on data and results
- • Maintain a high-volume outreach cadence while ensuring personalization and compliance with local regulations and GDPR
- • Help establish and document the first sales playbook for Italy, including ideal customer profiles, contact protocols, objection handling frameworks, and follow-up rhythms
- • Contribute to shaping Dandy’s brand presence in Italy by representing the company professionally and enthusiastically in all external communications
- • Embrace ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments where processes are being built, not followed
- • Maintain rigorous organization and accountability in tracking daily activities, pipeline progression, and conversion rates
- • Demonstrate resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning through structured training and peer feedback
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of XDR/BDR/SDR experience in a high-growth startup environment (SaaS strongly preferred)
- • Experience launching outbound sales into a new vertical, new market, or new product — having been the first or among the first in a seat
- • Strong cold-calling skills with SMB experience being a big plus
- • Comfort operating without an existing playbook — ability to write and refine processes from scratch
- • Proficiency with standard sales tools such as Salesforce and willingness to explore and implement new tools to streamline outreach
- • Proven track record of professional and academic success
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and mental health support tailored to Italy
- • Parental planning resources
- • Retirement savings options
- • Generous paid time off
- • Inclusive, diverse, and authentic workplace culture
- • Equal opportunity employer committed to accessibility and compliance with ADA and GDPR
