📋 Description

• • The Business Development Representative (BDR) generates qualified leads in defined regions for their assigned sales team, playing a critical role in building a strong, sales-ready pipeline for Percona’s growth.
• • Day to day, the BDR creates awareness and interest in Percona solutions, identifies and communicates with key decision makers, delivers high-quality phone calls, emails, and social media messaging, nurtures and manages leads until sales-ready, proactively sets up sales appointments, documents all activity in CRM, and uses advanced prospecting strategies like LinkedIn social selling and video messaging to break into enterprise accounts.
• • Percona is a remote-only, globally dispersed company with colleagues in over 50 countries, dedicated to enabling innovation through open source database software, support, and services, with technical expertise in MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB.
• • In this role, the person will develop advanced outbound sales skills, master CRM and sales engagement tools, learn to navigate enterprise sales cycles, and build a track record of generating qualified opportunities that directly contribute to revenue growth.
