• • As a Business Development Representative focused on State & Local Government (SLED), you will drive new pipeline generation for Zip’s AI-powered procurement platform by engaging public sector agencies through strategic outbound prospecting.
• • You will partner with SLED Account Executives to research government organizations, understand procurement cycles and compliance requirements, and book high-quality meetings that convert into revenue opportunities using a multi-channel approach including calls, email, LinkedIn, and events.
• • Zip is a fast-growing AI procurement platform backed by $371M in funding and a $2.2B valuation, trusted by enterprises like OpenAI, T-Mobile, and NASA, now expanding into the public sector with a mission to modernize buying processes for state and local governments.
• • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in public sector sales motions, refine go-to-market strategies, and contribute directly to Zip’s expansion into the $50B+ SLED market while building foundational skills in enterprise sales, CRM management, and cross-functional collaboration.
