- • Work closely with the global sales team to increase awareness and generate opportunities for Perk’s new MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) offering, with a focus on supporting AM teams and long-tail/SMB accounts.
- • Manage the full lifecycle of smaller-scale and mid-yielding event and group travel projects, from initial RFP creation through proposal development, negotiation, and final coordination.
- • Prepare and submit customized RFPs for global clients, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Perk’s service standards.
- • Coordinate operational logistics with cross-functional teams including operations, customer success, and regional sales to ensure seamless event setup and execution.
- • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound phone calls and email inquiries from existing and potential customers regarding event and group travel needs.
- • Support sales conversations alongside Sales Engineers (SEs) and Enterprise Sales Engineers (ESEs) by providing discovery insights and clarifying service capabilities.
- • Recommend optimal event solutions, including venue options, travel arrangements, and group booking configurations, tailored to client objectives and budgets.
- • Handle worldwide conferences, incentive trips, corporate meetings, and group travel requests with end-to-end ownership and attention to detail.
- • Proactively maintain relationships with existing clients to identify upsell opportunities and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
- • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by anticipating client needs and delivering timely, high-quality service throughout the entire customer journey.
- • Adhere strictly to company service level agreements (SLAs) for response times and resolution benchmarks.
- • Follow all company quality standards and procedures, while actively contributing suggestions for process improvements.
- • Collaborate with team members to support shared goals, assist colleagues as needed, and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- • Maximize revenue potential by identifying and pursuing additional service opportunities across all regions to contribute to overall company revenue and profitability targets.
- • Deliver exceptional customer experiences for MICE and group travel services as an add-on to Perk’s core travel and spend management platform.
🎯 Requirements
- • Previous experience working in a venue sourcing or meetings & events team, preferably with an agency background
- • Demonstrated knowledge of global event venues, destinations, and supplier landscapes
- • Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner and ability to negotiate rates with suppliers
- • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- • Positive, flexible attitude and proven ability to function effectively as a team player
- • Confident and organized approach to managing multiple client projects simultaneously
