- • Represent Dexcom as a Territory Business Manager by calling on physicians, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and other healthcare institutions to promote continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) products and expand their adoption.
- • Influence high- and low-prescribing CGM physicians, diabetes education nurses, and healthcare professionals to prescribe Dexcom products to their patients through direct engagement and education.
- • Train healthcare professionals on the proper use and integration of Dexcom CGM systems into clinical workflows and daily patient care routines.
- • Educate pharmacies within the assigned territory on Dexcom products, including product benefits, reimbursement processes, and patient support resources.
- • Actively participate in local, regional, and national trade shows and diabetes-related exhibitions to raise brand awareness and drive product adoption among the broader diabetes community.
- • Collaborate with market access, trade, government affairs, district, and territory sales teams to align strategies and drive territory sales growth.
- • Implement Dexcom’s sales strategy and utilize company analytical tools to monitor progress, identify opportunities, and ensure alignment with district and territory sales targets and KPIs.
- • Be accountable for meeting or exceeding assigned territory sales goals and maintaining consistent performance against company expectations.
- • Complete all administrative tasks—including reporting, CRM updates, and documentation—in a timely and accurate manner as directed by management.
- • Maintain a valid state driver’s license, reliable automobile insurance, and a satisfactory driving record per company policy to support consistent field activity.
- • Travel 50 to 75% of the time within the Scranton, Pennsylvania territory to conduct in-person visits with healthcare providers and attend events.
- • Work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends to accommodate the availability of healthcare professionals and event schedules.
- • Serve as a key liaison between Dexcom and the healthcare ecosystem to build trust, provide technical expertise, and support long-term patient outcomes through CGM technology.
- • Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer support efforts.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dexcom’s product portfolio, competitive landscape, and evolving diabetes care standards to deliver accurate and impactful messaging.
- • Adhere to all company policies, compliance requirements, and ethical standards in all customer interactions and business practices.
- • Contribute to Dexcom’s mission of improving human health by enabling patients to take control of their health through innovative biosensing technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related experience
- • Valid state driver’s license, automobile insurance, and satisfactory driving record
- • Willingness to travel 50–75% and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- • Previous medical or pharmaceutical sales experience with a proven sales success track record preferred
- • Experience in non-medical or non-pharmaceutical sales will be considered
- • Diabetes disease state knowledge is a plus
