  • • As a Sales Engineer (Solutions Architect) at Zapier, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, helping them understand how Zapier’s automation platform can solve complex integration challenges and align with their broader business strategy.
  • • Day to day, you will engage in consultative sales by deeply understanding customer technical needs, designing tailored proof-of-concepts and demos, collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to shape integration architectures, and influencing the product roadmap based on customer feedback.

  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in enterprise automation, sharpen your consultative and technical selling skills, influence product direction through customer insights, and grow as a strategic partner who bridges go-to-market and engineering teams to drive long-term customer success.

šŸŽÆ Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales at B2B SaaS companies or customer-facing technical consulting roles involving business and technical stakeholder management
  • • Proven success in closing six-figure software deals and building senior-level relationships in enterprise sales environments
  • • Strong technical acumen with comfort in architectural discussions, API concepts, and assisting customers with technical implementations
  • • Consultative selling approach with ability to understand customer needs, position solutions strategically, and advise both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • • Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, and Growth teams to gather feedback and influence product roadmap
  • • AI fluency — regular use of AI tools in work to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making, with ability to demonstrate impact
