- • Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants across the Salerno region in an organized manner, becoming an area-level expert on up-and-coming and high-demand dining establishments.
- • Support restaurant partners through the onboarding process to Deliveroo, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from initial contact to activation.
- • Communicate directly with restaurant owners and managers via physical visits, phone calls, emails, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology and value proposition.
- • Identify and help overcome barriers or hesitations restaurant partners may have about joining the Deliveroo platform.
- • Attend local restaurant and food industry meet-ups to build relationships and expand network within the regional food scene.
- • Collaborate with the regional sales team under the guidance of the Sales Lead to meet and exceed business development targets.
- • Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, meetings, and partnership progress using company systems and tools.
- • Represent Deliveroo professionally in all interactions, embodying the company’s mission to transform how people shop and eat by connecting consumers with premium restaurants.
- • Work independently to manage a defined territory while aligning with broader regional and company-wide sales strategies.
- • Leverage industry knowledge to tailor pitches and solutions to the unique needs of different restaurant types and ownership structures.
- • Contribute to a fast-paced, autonomous, and ownership-driven culture focused on rapid growth and innovation within the food delivery sector.
- • Operate as a founding member of Deliveroo’s expanding presence in Salerno, helping shape local market strategy and execution.
- • Engage with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt as part of the unified global organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must have sales experience and be comfortable targeting new business
- • Must be confident in dealing with partners/customers face-to-face, via phone, or email
- • Must have experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients
- • Must be comfortable with negotiations
- • Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus
- • Must be tenacious
🏖️ Benefits
- • Total target compensation (OTE) of €35,200 – €44,000 gross per year
- • Base salary range of €17,200 – €26,000 gross per year
- • Compensation governed by the CCNL Commercio e Terziario, Classification Level 4
