  • • Drive and manage a profitable and growing book of business by cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with agencies and producers.
  • • Proactively sell, service, and maintain a network of producers capable of generating and controlling a profitable and expanding book of business, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • • Diligently monitor the production output and quality of assigned producers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance.
  • • Spearhead the profitable sale of ICW Group's insurance products, focusing on increasing sales of existing offerings and effectively introducing new products as they become available.
  • • Foster the development of the assigned producer group, aiming to elevate both the quality and quantity of business acquired from these partnerships.
  • • Maintain a keen awareness of industry shifts, including updates to WCIRB/NCCI rulings, policy forms, and coverage modifications, ensuring compliance and strategic adaptation.
  • • Prospect and develop new business opportunities by identifying and prequalifying potential new producers, assessing their suitability for collaboration.
  • • Appoint high-quality new producers, clearly establishing and consistently monitoring production expectations with each appointed agency.
  • • Cultivate an in-depth understanding of the assigned geographic territory, including key production sources, competitor activities, and relevant economic and demographic factors.
  • • Conduct thorough marketing research to uncover opportunities for management, product enhancements, novel distribution channels, and promising new geographic markets with significant growth potential.
  • • Leverage underwriting authority to accurately and effectively price the Company’s products, ensuring profitability and competitive positioning.
  • • Evaluate and make decisions on routine to moderately complex risks, meticulously assessing all risk characteristics such as operations, financials, management, employee base, and prior experience relative to industry averages.
  • • Ensure pricing reflects the exposure, loss frequency, and severity for optimal profitability, applying appropriate rating plans and modifications for renewal retention.
  • • Deliver exceptional customer service by fostering collaborative relationships with producers and insureds, acting as a primary point of contact and company representative.
  • • Provide essential production support through regular producer visitations and active participation in underwriting and production presentations.
  • • Offer personalized assistance to agents and insureds by conducting regular visits to their offices and other relevant locations.
  • • Maintain consistent and effective communication with customers utilizing company technology platforms.
  • • Address and resolve agent and customer concerns promptly and efficiently, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • • Present Agency Management solutions to agency principals and the ICW management team, showcasing value and strategic alignment.
  • • Serve as the primary liaison and ambassador for ICW Group with both existing and prospective producers, building trust and reinforcing partnerships.
  • • Ensure the company’s marketing and producer management objectives are met through the consistent generation and maintenance of a profitable book of business.
  • • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that all underwriting decisions align with company guidelines and profitability targets.
  • • Contribute to the overall success of the underwriting team by sharing market insights and best practices.
  • • Continuously seek opportunities for professional development to stay abreast of industry trends and enhance underwriting expertise.
