- • Conduct audits of retail grocery and food service establishments to assess compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and facility standards.
- • Provide coaching and training to site-level personnel on identified food safety and sanitation violations and corrective actions.
- • Communicate audit findings and recommended corrective actions directly to client staff in a professional and constructive manner.
- • Complete all audits using a company-issued Android or iOS tablet with proprietary software.
- • Travel regionally to client sites, including approximately 30% overnight travel, to perform on-site evaluations.
- • Maintain, replace, or install wall charts, job aids, stickers, test strips, and related materials at client locations (minor hand tool use may be required).
- • Evaluate equipment performance and service needs at client sites, coordinating technician support when issues cannot be resolved on-site.
- • Learn and internalize specific customer brand standards, participate in calibration activities, and pass required calibration exams.
- • Develop and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with retail and food service clients to ensure ongoing compliance and satisfaction.
- • Perform internal reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks related to audit outcomes and client interactions.
- • Ensure all audit activities align with regulatory, industry, and customer-specific food safety requirements.
- • Utilize company-provided tools and resources to maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines.
- • Participate in initial onboarding, ongoing training, and professional development programs to stay current with food safety protocols and audit methodologies.
- • Represent Solenis professionally in client environments, upholding company standards for conduct, appearance, and communication.
- • Support the Institutional Business Group by contributing to the integrity and effectiveness of retail food safety programs across the assigned territory.
🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma (or equivalent) and an associate degree with at least 2+ years of experience supporting retail food safety and sanitation programs
- • Certified Professional – Food Safety (CP-FS) credential from NEHA, or ability to obtain it within 6 months of start date (REHS/RS credential exempt from this requirement)
- • Valid U.S. driver’s license
- • Ability to travel regionally with approximately 30% overnight travel
- • Strong time management skills, self-motivation, effective communication skills, and a professional demeanor
