- • The Business Insights & Planning Analyst III plays a critical role in supporting CareSource’s Business Development team by leading mergers & acquisitions (M&A) workstreams, driving business planning initiatives, and developing high-impact work products that inform strategic growth decisions. This role ensures seamless coordination across cross-functional teams during due diligence, integration planning, and executive reporting, directly contributing to the organization’s ability to evaluate, execute, and integrate strategic transactions effectively.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating diligence planning activities across legal, finance, operations, and advisory teams; managing due diligence workstreams including data requests, data room administration, and secure data exchange; supporting internal transaction analysis and acquisition planning; facilitating meetings with deal teams, functional leads, legal counsel, external advisors, and senior leadership; documenting and communicating status, risks, issues, and interdependencies; developing executive-ready presentations, meeting materials, and reporting dashboards; creating and maintaining marketing collateral for Business Development; contributing to the continuous improvement of project management tools and service delivery practices; collaborating with subject matter experts to gather and synthesize information; coordinating integration handoffs with the Enterprise Project Management Office; and supporting broader business planning and growth initiatives through data-driven insights and presentation development for board and executive audiences.
- • The Business Development team at CareSource operates at the intersection of strategy, operations, and growth, focusing on identifying and executing strategic opportunities that expand the organization’s impact in the healthcare insurance sector. This team partners closely with finance, legal, operations, and IT to evaluate potential transactions, manage due diligence, and ensure smooth post-close integration. As a remote-first organization, CareSource fosters a collaborative, inclusive culture that values innovation, accountability, and employee well-being, providing analysts with the autonomy and support needed to drive meaningful outcomes while maintaining work-life flexibility.
