📋 Description

• As a Business Operations Manager at Maze Technologies Inc., you will own the operational backbone of a fast-growing AI-powered cybersecurity startup, ensuring smooth functioning across finance, compliance, people ops, and reporting to enable the founding team to focus on core innovation.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include building operational systems from scratch, setting company rhythms through board packs and all-hands meetings, driving financial clarity via budgeting and reporting, leveraging AI to automate workflows, and turning institutional knowledge into scalable infrastructure.
• You will join a small, high-impact, fully remote team based in the UK, backed by leaders from Big Tech and high-growth scale-ups, working to build an AI-native company from the ground up in the cybersecurity space.
• In this role, you will develop end-to-end operational ownership, gain deep exposure to startup scaling, build systems that outlast individuals, and position yourself for leadership growth by directly contributing to investor readiness and company-wide efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of reliable execution: consistently meeting deadlines, maintaining high quality, and being someone others rely on to get things done across varied tasks
• 3–5 years of experience in professional services or consultancy combined with startup or entrepreneurial experience, demonstrating both rigor and scrappiness
• High agency and builder’s mindset: ability to identify needs, create solutions from scratch, and act autonomously without waiting for direction
