  • • Your opportunity as a Business Process Analyst is to play a pivotal role in identifying, defining, and tracking projects within the business unit, specifically as they relate to systems. This encompasses supporting yearly critical few initiatives, corporate projects, meticulously defining current business processes, optimizing system utilization, and exploring innovative processes and tools to eliminate waste and enhance throughput speed and accuracy within our facilities. You will collaborate with multiple functional areas of the business to pinpoint specific IT/systems initiatives and coordinate corporate resources to ensure their successful execution.
  • • What you’ll be doing:
  • • Collaborate with your supervisor to prioritize and support system-related projects that directly impact customer satisfaction, both internally and externally. You will take ownership of these projects, guiding them through their entire lifecycle from concept to completion, working with all necessary stakeholders. The ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously is highly valued.
  • • As directed, engage with various business unit sectors to identify and address process bottlenecks, standardize operations, and uncover other opportunities for significant improvement.
  • • Act as a key liaison between business units and Corporate IT teams, assisting in the precise definition of system requirements. You will support process improvements and contribute to the definition and implementation of specific corporate IT initiatives as they affect the business unit, serving as a champion for change and supporting change management efforts within the business unit.
  • • Effectively communicate programming needs to the centralized IT department, working closely with Programmers and/or IT Analysts to ensure efficient and timely implementation of system changes.
  • • Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable system specifications. This involves gathering, documenting, and implementing business requirements, as well as auditing existing business processes to ensure adherence to established procedures and best practices.
  • • Provide essential technical support and troubleshooting for current systems utilized across all business unit processes, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing operations. Your focus will be on the entire order-to-cash business process and the diverse range of systems that support it, including but not limited to JIRA, SAP, and MII.
  • • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes by analyzing current workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing data-driven solutions.
  • • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for business processes, system configurations, and user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and operational consistency.
  • • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new system implementations or upgrades, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and functional requirements.
  • • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for end-users on new or updated systems and processes.
  • • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to business process analysis and system optimization.
  • • Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders across various departments, including Operations, Sales, Finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • • Contribute to the development of business cases for system-related projects, outlining potential benefits, costs, and risks.
  • • Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
  • • Analyze system data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies in all process and system-related activities.
  • • Proactively identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains within existing business processes.
  • • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, discuss solutions, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • • Support the integration of new acquisitions or business units into existing systems and processes.
  • • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team and the broader organization.
