- • Map, prospect, pitch, and close new restaurants across the Firenze region in an organized and systematic manner, becoming an area-level expert on emerging and high-demand dining establishments.
- • Support restaurant partners through the onboarding process to Deliveroo, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from first contact to integration.
- • Communicate directly with restaurant owners and managers via physical visits, phone calls, emails, and social media to demonstrate Deliveroo’s technology and value proposition.
- • Identify and address barriers or hesitations restaurant partners may have about joining the platform, providing tailored solutions to overcome objections.
- • Attend local restaurant and food industry meet-ups to build relationships, gather market intelligence, and promote Deliveroo’s presence in the community.
- • Collaborate with the regional sales team under the guidance of the Sales Lead to meet and exceed business development targets.
- • Leverage product and industry knowledge to effectively articulate Deliveroo’s benefits to restaurant stakeholders, including owners, managers, and operators.
- • Engage in negotiations with restaurant partners to secure agreements that align with both Deliveroo’s goals and the partner’s operational needs.
- • Maintain accurate records of outreach efforts, meetings, and partnership progress using company systems and tools.
- • Represent Deliveroo professionally in all interactions, upholding the company’s reputation as a trusted partner to Italy’s premium dining establishments.
- • Contribute to a collaborative, values-driven culture that supports autonomy, rapid learning, and personal growth within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- • Work closely with teams across DoorDash and Wolt as part of Deliveroo’s global structure, contributing to shared objectives and initiatives.
- • Deliver measurable impact daily by directly improving experiences for customers, restaurant partners, and riders through successful business development.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving market conditions and consumer preferences in the Firenze food scene to identify new opportunities for growth.
- • Operate with tenacity and persistence in a target-driven role requiring consistent outreach and follow-up with potential partners.

🎯 Requirements
- • Must have sales experience and be comfortable targeting new business
- • Must be confident in dealing with partners/customers face-to-face, by phone, or via email
- • Must have experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients
- • Must be comfortable with negotiations
- • Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus
- • Must be tenacious
🏖️ Benefits
- • Total target compensation (OTE) of €35,200 – €44,000 gross per year, with base salary range of €17,200 – €26,000
- • Compensation governed by National Collective Agreement (CBA): CCNL Commercio e Terziario, Livello 4
