📋 Description

  • Lead market strategy and execution for one of Alan’s core business segments: Tech, Industry, or New Segments, with the goal of achieving market leadership in your assigned category.
  • Develop deep market intelligence by analyzing quantitative data (market sizing, trends) and qualitative insights (customer pain points, competitive positioning) to inform strategic decisions.
  • Define and refine the value proposition and pricing strategy for your segment to differentiate Alan’s prevention-focused insurance offering from traditional competitors.
  • Design and execute go-to-market strategies that drive both customer retention (account management) and growth (business development), adapting distribution channels, sub-segments, and partner ecosystems as needed.
  • Own the P&L for your business segment, including ROI analysis and internal resource allocation decisions based on financial performance and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Insurance, Sales, and Marketing teams to align on product development, customer needs, and market feedback, ensuring product-market fit.
  • Work closely with other Business Segment Leads to share best practices, build alignment on long-term value plans, and scale successful initiatives across segments.
  • Translate complex market dynamics into clear, actionable strategies despite uncertainty, balancing high-level vision with granular operational execution.
  • Act as a transversal influencer without direct authority, leveraging persuasion, data, and collaboration to drive alignment across teams and functions.
  • Engage directly with customers and internal teams on the field to gather insights, support implementation, and foster a hands-on, generalist mindset.
  • Maintain a broad business perspective while diving deep into product considerations, ensuring strategic decisions are grounded in both market reality and product feasibility.
  • Operate as a self-starter generalist capable of rapidly adapting to new industries, sub-segments, and market conditions—not limited to expertise in a single vertical.
  • Represent Alan’s mission to redefine healthcare through prevention, ensuring all strategic initiatives align with the company’s vision of making health a daily, sustainable right.
  • Contribute to building a scalable, sustainable insurance model that integrates prevention, care, and coverage into a seamless user experience for over 1M+ members.
  • Drive innovation in underdeveloped segments, particularly in New Segments, where market structures are undefined and opportunities require foundational building.
  • Partner with senior leadership to secure buy-in, resources, and strategic direction for segment-specific initiatives and long-term growth plans.
  • Ensure all market strategies are executed with a customer-centric lens, prioritizing accessibility, equity, and preventive health outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

  • At least 8 years of prior experience leading a business (product category, business segment, etc.)
  • Full working proficiency in French
  • At least advanced level in English
  • An exceptional ability to establish transversal influence
  • Used to analyze and manipulate data to build a 360 degree view of your market
  • A strong business sense while being able to go deep into product considerations
