- • As a Business Strategy and Planning Manager at USAA, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization by preparing high-quality presentations, reports, and briefing materials for executive leadership, including Presidents and the Chief Legal Officer, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include guiding the development and coordination of CoSA strategy, working with executive management to establish strategic frameworks, identifying and implementing planning processes, maintaining alignment with enterprise strategy, building strategic roadmaps, supporting change management initiatives, conducting research and analysis, mentoring team members, facilitating cross-functional teams, and ensuring risks are identified and managed in compliance with policies.
- • You will be part of USAA’s San Antonio Home Office I team, contributing to a mission-driven organization committed to serving the military community and their families through financial security, exceptional service, and trusted advice, grounded in core values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and service.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced strategic thinking, executive communication, and change leadership skills while gaining deep exposure to enterprise-level business planning, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration within a Fortune 500 financial services leader.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- • 6 years of directly related business planning consultation experience contributing to short- and/or long-term business strategy development
- • Effective facilitation experience with executive-level communication and ability to influence
- • Experience in Project Management
- • Strong business acumen in financial services or related industry, with proven ability to balance strategic thinking and practical implementation
- • Demonstrated analytical skills to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives
