- • Analyze business areas to define workflow and identify needs met by current or proposed solutions.
- • Select appropriate analytical techniques to review information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures against service standards and best practices to identify efficiency and productivity improvements.
- • Recommend alternative solutions to management that align with organizational goals, including modifications to ineffective business methods and processes.
- • Identify and leverage computer systems to collect data on service or program business processes.
- • Define the business case for new projects by identifying specific business needs and objectives.
- • Participate in business process engineering initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of operational efficiency.
- • Evaluate potential solutions to business issues and determine optimal courses of action.
- • Generate functional requirements and obtain stakeholder approval to ensure alignment with business needs.
- • Translate business needs into operational requirements using strong analytical and technical skills.
- • Apply problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve complex business challenges.
- • Utilize advanced Excel and Microsoft Suite tools for data analysis and reporting.
- • Work collaboratively with all levels of the organization, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- • Support cost control and efficiency improvements to help achieve business goals for assigned Center of Excellence or program.
- • Engage with financial transactions, purchase order systems, and journal entries as part of business process analysis.
- • Utilize SQL to query and analyze relational databases for business insights.
- • Contribute to process improvement projects with a focus on optimizing business systems and workflows.
- • Ensure all recommendations and requirements are documented, validated, and approved by relevant stakeholders.
- • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business analysis objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, process improvement, or related field, or equivalent experience
- • Three (3) years of experience in business analysis or process improvement
- • Experience with relational database SQL language
- • Experience working with financial transactions, PO systems, and/or journal entries
- • US Citizenship required
- • Proficient in Microsoft Suite with advanced Excel knowledge
