- • Join athenahealth as a pivotal Business Systems Analyst specializing in Salesforce CPQ, a role critical to delivering and supporting impactful business initiatives. In this remote position, you will be instrumental in configuring and optimizing our Salesforce CPQ platform, working collaboratively with a dedicated team of business process owners, IT Product and Project Managers, fellow Business Systems Analysts, and Development team members.
- • Your primary focus will be on the intricate configuration of Salesforce CPQ, ensuring it seamlessly supports our business partners and drives operational excellence. - • This role demands a highly detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust, effective system solutions. You will be a key driver in transforming our business processes, enhancing employee productivity, and improving the end-user and customer experience through strategic application of Salesforce CPQ capabilities.
- • A core responsibility involves partnering closely with key stakeholders across the organization to analyze, understand, and enhance business processes. You will be tasked with gathering, meticulously documenting, and analyzing both functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and resolution of production issues. This requires a deep dive into understanding user needs and translating them into actionable system configurations.
- • You will be responsible for the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce CPQ solutions. This includes managing complex product bundles, configuring intricate price rules, implementing validation and approval rules, and customizing document templates to meet evolving business demands and support new requests and enhancements. Your expertise will ensure our CPQ system is robust, efficient, and aligned with strategic objectives.
- • Demonstrating strong business acumen and an in-depth understanding of the Salesforce CPQ domain is essential. You will leverage this knowledge to advise on best practices, recommend process improvements, and define system enhancements that directly align with overarching business goals, ensuring scalability and efficiency across the platform.
- • A significant part of your role will involve creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation. This includes detailed business requirements documents, functional specifications, user manuals, and well-defined JIRA stories, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- • You will collaborate closely with technical teams to design solutions that precisely meet business needs, translating these into detailed system specifications and workflows. A critical aspect of this is considering the upstream and downstream impacts of any proposed changes to ensure holistic system integrity.
- • Developing thorough test cases and conducting rigorous unit and integration testing will be crucial to guarantee that implemented systems meet specified requirements and function flawlessly before deployment.
- • You will also be responsible for developing and delivering engaging end-user training materials, empowering Salesforce users across the organization to leverage the system effectively. This includes researching and resolving production system issues, troubleshooting user problems, and escalating complex issues when necessary to ensure minimal disruption.
- • Performing application configuration activities, primarily within Salesforce and other supporting Force.com applications, will be a daily task. You will act as a vital liaison between business stakeholders and the IT department, facilitating clear communication and ensuring consistent alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- • Embracing a mindset of continuous improvement, you will stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Salesforce CPQ and related technologies, proactively recommending enhancements to boost business efficiency and maintain a competitive edge.
